This is the meaning of the Justice Tarot card.
Have you been wronged by someone, or better yet has someone hurt you? It is time to settle your old accounts, accept responsibility of your conduct, then wait for dust to get settled. Card number XI (or the number XIII) is known as Justice, and its purpose is essentially that.
Justice is about righting our wrongs, receiving the amount we're owed as well as karmic outcomes (both positive and negative). It is usually associated with law enforcement, but not all scores will be settled through the courtroom.
A lot of life lessons are played out in an environment that is separated from jurors and judges. One of the advantages of the card is that it will always result in an outcome that is fair and will even be fair for all affected
